Altogen Labs extensive biotechnology and pharmacology research services include the following:

Hybridomas (antibody-producing cell lines) and stable cell lines overexpressing proteins of interest are costly and vital assets for life science research. The generation of such protein-expressing cell lines can be a challenge that requires extensive cell culture experience and expertise.
Altogen Labs offer development of protein overexpression clonal stable cell lines based on client individual specifications. Our scientists bring years of extensive cell biology expertise and experimental experience.
Standard service offer includes:
a) Cloning: plasmid DNA encoding antibiotic-resistant gene, cloning of construct into plasmid DNA, final plasmid DNA amplification, Maxi-prep purification.
b) Stable cell line generation: transfection of plasmid DNA (20 ug) into a cell line of choice, drug selection of clonal cells, generation of stably-expressing population of cells, final validation of construct expression by real-time qRT-PCR (mRNA expression) or Western Blot (protein expression).
c) Two clonal cell lines (one cryovial each) are delivered to the customer.
