Pyrosequencing technology helps answer important questions in genetic research and applied sciences. Pyrosequencing PyroMark technology provides the gold standard in quantitative DNA sequence analysis for epigenetic DNA methylation; this technology allows accurate conclusions regarding the effects of DNA methylation on cell cycle and metabolism.

Starting Template Requirements:

Template should start with less than 500 ng per reaction
Recommended: 1-10 ng of human genomic DNA
May differ slightly if studying other genomes

QC of PCR Amplicions:

It is recommended to visualize the PCR products on agarose gel prior to performing the Pyrosequencing reaction
