Insertion/Deletion and SNP Sequencing Service
Pyrosequencing technology delivers exact sequence information and permits quantitative study of virtually any genetic variation, such as insertions and deletions, single nucleotide polymorphisms, tandem repeats, and variable gene copy number.
Due to flexibility of primer placement in pyro-sequencing reactions, any type of genetic markers can be assayed.
Alleles of variable loci are accurately quantified, and heterozygosity can be resolved.
Pyrosequencing delivers sequence information, therefore various types of genetic variation can be evaluated: insertions and deletions, SNPs, single tandem repeats, and variable gene copy number.
It is possible to assay several contiguous sequence variants in a single run.
